I've known this a long time, but I need to keep reminding myself

The Truth will most definitely NOT set you free.

Think about it. You're driving along and you find a billboard with "The Truth" written on it. Does it set you free?

Hardly.

No, the Truth, in any form, in any book, will NOT set you free, but living your truth certainly will.

For in the living of one's truth, we find ourselves, our deepest connections with life, with God, with one and all. We can't be untrue to another if we are living our truth (paraphrasing Shakespeare, some might say).

What does living one's truth mean in practice ... how do we go about "living our truth"?

One of the keys is to follow our heart ... and letting go the idea of needing to live up to other people's expectations.
